First read this account of his life. Then read about his exploits in the new world. See if you can answer the following questions in an email to me.
1. What important things did Penn do? Why was he important
2. What is Quakerism? What did they believe? Why did other Christians hate and persecute Quakers?

Sebastian:We are going to start an section on economics and the modern world, looking at credit, debt, oil, and other factors that affect our economy.
First we are going to study Oil. Today's object -- Who has the oil. Make a list of the world's major oil producers (nations) and oil consumers (nations).
Next, see if you can find a map of the major oil reserves in the world's land areas, and one with major oil reserves in the world's ocean areas.
